Things I've learned since the last album:
-Distance changes everything
-Distance changes nothing
This is beat tape 24. Damn, 24 beat tapes under my belt.
There's lots of personal tracks on this one, but they all contribute to an overall theme. I'm not gonna spell it out for you, but I think you'll be able to pick it out easily.
I've noticed that I spend more time on individual beats lately. I'm busy with the adult responsibilities that go with growing up, and it's harder to find as much free time as I once could. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing though; it forces me to refine each beat into something very great and complete sounding.
Listen to the album, download the album, tell me what you think about the album. I think it'll have a different significance for every listener, and I'm curious to see what feelings it instills in other people.
Thanks to Edward Frost and Lamar Kelley for so quickly and easily hopping on track 5 for me. I wish everyone had the same work ethic as ya'll.
